The project consists of the installation of a 49.50 kWp photovoltaic system comprising 134 monocrystalline silicon modules with fire resistance class ‘UNO’ and two 25 kW inverters, each with four strings of modules, installed on the factory roof in a coplanar manner and without interfering with production activities. ‘Project co-financed by the European Union, the Italian State and the Campania Region, as part of the Campania ERDF 2014-2020 Regional Operational Programme’.

The main objective is to achieve significant savings on annual energy costs through a dual mechanism:

partly through direct self-consumption;

partly through the net metering mechanism with an appropriate agreement signed with the GSE, which allows remuneration for the portion of energy fed into the grid and not self-consumed;

Instantaneous energy production covers almost all energy costs, almost entirely during the day, even in the least sunny periods of the year, making the return on investment very quick.
